Meals on Wheels
We applied for and received a grant from the City of Gainesville to fund this project for distribution of meals to 30 individuals two days per week in the City of Gainesville. We also have plans to serve 30 meals daily to qualified residents of Greater Alachua Monday through Friday. The Drive is on to register those in need of meals.
Our two principal Goals are
To improve the overall health and well-being of homebound individuals and those with chronic or acute illness, regardless of age, by providing healthy nutritious meals.
To provide healthy nutritious meals to those who don’t have access to it.
